Breast Massage

Oftentimes, women who begin new bio-identical hormones, either for the first time or because of a change in formula, experience breast tenderness. Some women might even describe their breasts as sore or painful. Although it might be alarming, rest assured this is a good sign of hormones at work. In fact, during pregnancy, the breasts feel sore because estriol and progesterone clean out the breasts and prepare them for lactation. This same process happens with bio-identical hormone replacement as aging breasts are returned to a more youthful and healthy histology.
