Low Dose Naltrexone 

This drug was compounded for you by O’Brien Pharmacy according to your provider’s prescription. Use 
Common use of this medication include adjunct treatment for chronic pain, fatigue syndromes, or autoimmune, neurologic, or inflammatory conditions. 

Side Effects 
Side effects may include sleep disturbances or vivid dreams which tend to resolve with continued use. You may experience GI upset, nausea, fatigue, or headache.  

Precautions 
Advise your prescriber if you are pregnant or nursing. This drug may counter the effects of immunosuppressive drugs and certain pain medications. Report unusual pain, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or severe mood changes to provider. 

Directions 
Take by mouth once daily, typically at around 9PM or bedtime, or as directed. If you forget your dose, take the medication if it is still nighttime. Otherwise, skip the dose and resume the following night. Do not double up after a missed dose.  

Storage 
Store in dry place at room temperature.  

Do not flush unused medications or pour down a sink or drain. You have the right to know about the proper use of your medication and its effects. A pharmacist is available for consult Mon. – Fri. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central Time by calling the pharmacy at 800-627-4360. Patients in California will receive a return call on Saturdays for voicemails left by noon Central Time (10 a.m. Pacific Time).
