Otic Capsules

Use
This medication is commonly used to treat or prevent an ear infection.
Side Effects
This medication works locally and systemic side effects are not expected. Report any unusual side effects to your prescriber.
Precautions
Do not use if allergic to any ingredients. Report to your prescriber if condition worsens or does not improve.
Directions
Do not swallow. Remove tip of insufflator. Remove small top of capsule and insert open end towards the bulb. Replace insufflator tip. Store apparatus tip down, bulb up between uses. Remove any wax or fluids with a warm cloth, being sure to keep moisture out of the tip and powder container. Insert tip just inside threshold of ear canal before puffing powder. For use in the ear, not oral use. Refer to insufflator instructions.
Storage
Store at room temperature in a dry place. Store loaded insufflator with bulb upright. Do not dispose of medication in waterways, flush unused medications, or pour down a sink or drain.
