Uses
This medication might be used for treatment of certain metabolic or mitochondrial conditions, management of urinary symptoms, supportive therapy for neurologic or fatigue-related conditions, or other individualized therapeutic uses as determined by your prescriber.
Side Effects
Side effects may include blue-green urine, stool, sweat, or saliva. You may experience changes in taste, nausea, restlessness, abdominal pain, rash, or dizziness. Seek medical attention right away for shortness of breath, chest pain, confusion, agitation, fever, muscle stiffness, severe headache, or signs of allergic reaction like hives or swelling.
Precautions
Do not use this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. There is a genetic condition that is a contraindication for taking this drug. Your prescriber may conduct a genetic test to determine if this medication is safe for you to take. Tell your prescriber or pharmacist if you take antidepressants, stimulants, or serotonergic medications. Use with caution in those with kidney or liver disease. This medication has drug and supplement interactions, always provide a complete list of what you are taking.
Storage
Store at room temperature and note beyond use date. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Exposure to high temperatures may cause medication to leak from capsules. Do not dispose of medication in waterways, flush unused medications, or pour down a sink or drain.
