Acne and Skin Cream

This drug was compounded for you by O’Brien Pharmacy according to your provider’s prescription. Use 
Common uses include increasing the turnover of skin cells. 

Side effects 
Skin irritation, including, redness, rash, burning, itchiness dryness, and stinging may he caused by this cream. If these effects persist or worsen. Inform your provider. Notify your provider if redness, swelling, or irritation becomes problematic. The components of this cream can also cause a greater potential to sunburn. Minimize sun exposure and discuss the use of sunscreen with prescriber or pharmacist. 

Precautions 
This cream is for external use only. Do not use the cream around the eyes. Avoid the concurrent use of products, which contain benzoyl peroxide, resorcinol, sulfur, or salicylic acid unless directed by your provider. Avoid exposure to the wind and cold temperature as these can cause the skin to become excessively dry. Avoid the use of astringents and cosmetic products that can irritate or dry the skin. Use mild, non-medicated soap and avoid frequent washing and harsh scrubbing. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, discuss the risks and benefits of using this medication with your prescriber.  

Directions 
Use this product only for the condition for which it is prescribed. Clean and dry the affected area before applying the medication. Gently massage a thin layer of cream on the affected area only. Wash hands after applying. If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered unless it is almost time for your next dose then resume dosing as prescribed. 

Storage 
Store at room temperature. Do not use the cream beyond the beyond use date. Do not flush unused medications or pour down a sink or drain.
